Impactful Design

I was an educator for over 12 years. I loved working with students and my community. My background as an elementary music teacher taught me how to be a public speaker, marketing specialist, instructional designer and well-rounded human being with the belief in the goodness of people and the power of storytelling. 

 I have facilitated and produced over 32 Virtual Instructor-led over trainings from a 12-course catalogue of content and material teaching TxDOT employees and vendors how to navigate the user interface of TxDOTCONNECT and successfully plan, prepare and submit construction and maintenance projects to be let out for bids.

I collaborate with Business Operations Support Teams in developing marketing materials in advertising programs and opportunities for local governments. I routinely provide editing and revision support for Newsletters and statewide emails. 

I develop story-based video materials that break down complex topics into digestible and engaging content that generate curiosity and participant engagement for statewide meetings and leadership huddles.

While I was a teacher, I built a following online as "The Kodaly Viking", developing Body Warm-ups, Listening Maps, Technical Trainings, and best practices for Restorative Behavioral Management Videos.
